My Space Super Hero Web Ring

Hi Fellow Heroes,

A while back a friend of mine " Gernot by Name" asked me to create a my space web ring for Superman Fans that were also my space users. Now to anyone with even my limited HTML skills my space is a bit of a joke considering it’s numerous limitations. But it does seem to be the latest Internet fad and many RLSH types have pages there including me. The main reason I do is I help folks out on line with stuff and I kept getting asked about my space. The only way I could properly answer those questions was to make my own my space page. http://www.myspace.com/superman19492002 in case you want a look at the finished product. Now my space has their own version of a group site that you can set up. So I made a group site for Superman fans http://groups.myspace.com/supermanfanwebriing In addition to setting up the site I put the HTML on it that a person can download and add to their respective my space pages. That HTML creates a button to help promote the web ring. When you see it on a member’s page and click on it you go to the group site and can then sign up your self andget the code for your my space page. I was discussing this in reference to the Real Life Super Hero Movement with Zetaman and part of that discussion is reflected elsewhere on the board. We already have a web ring page on this site listed in the contents page. By Posting in this section you can submit links to be added to it. Now as far as the MY SPACE REAL LIFE SUPER HERO WEB RING goes I need suggestions for a name. So post your suggestions here for one and as soon as a winner emerges I’ll go in and make the group site by that name. Feel free to submit a banner image to use as well. I’ll the go in and make the site in my space. Or if one of you would rather take on the project (as stated) your-self go for it. Just be sure and set the site for open enrollment. Not much point of a my space web ring project if folks or groups in my space for that matter are barred from signing up. As soon as it is up and running I will post the link in here and on the web ring page on this site.

Content page meaning the Earth Agents site?
BTW, have you checked out the Bravenet functions? I would of suggested Webring.com but they have really gone downhill as far as quality and so many adds. I am also considering using the link functions for the various parts on different sites.

Hi Zeta,

Yes I mean the content page on the Earth Agent Site. It’s the second page in after the cover page. The entry reads EARTH AGENT WEB RING with a sub heading under it that says Hyper Links Index for Super Hero Sites. It is at the bottom of the page right above the return to cover page link. Hope this helps. When we get some more links to put in I’ll add them on to the page. If and when someone makes a my space web ring I’ll be happy to add it in as well. If it doesn’t happen soon I may just take it upon myself to do it. Then adding it to the links page on this site. Presently toying with the name "MY SPACE SUPERHERO WEB RING" but was hoping someone would come up with a spiffier sounding name. After all I wouldn’t want to offend any MYSTERY MEN that may be lurking out there.

I see. Yeah, I would love to work on something like this. Let me see what I can do. I've been trying to put together a link list on the wiki according to state. But perhaps something automatic would be better.
