| Well 1st off I must confess to having a My Space page. But I have a fair to middling excuse for it. One of the things I do on line is help folks with their computer stuff. I was getting all kinds of questions about My Space. Not wanting to just blow smoke or sell wolf tickets (like so many do when asked something they don’t know) I made myself a My Space page so I could properly answer those questions. In the process I also learned how to make it do some stuff it wasn’t designed to do. Posting so the rest of the My Spacers out there could do it too probably got me put on a list some where. Like I care what My Space honchos think. So when I state that I think My Space is a clannish, bogus piece of crap I know what I’m talking about. It’s a predigested piece of Internet BS for those who either doesn’t know how or are too lazy to do their own HTML coding. I have a nice My Space experiment for interested party’s to try. 1st you run every spy ware, ad ware and any other Internet cleaning program you may have to get your computer nice and clean. 2nd you go in to My Space and hang out for awhile. 15 minutes or so should do nicely. 3rd repeat step #1 and see what all pops up. Any decent protection set up will show you all kinds of crap that My Space put on your computer. But the doubters among you don’t have to take my word for it. Do the test and see for yourself. Plus if My Space goes down for whatever reasons you are screwed. What I advocate is stand-alone coding, backed up on removable media and covered by a URL masker forwarder. It can then be placed in several locations providing free space on line with the URL masker forwarder pointed at 1 of them. Then if the 1st location goes down for whatever reason you point The URL masker forwarder at the next in line and go in to the1st 1 to see what happened. It makes it next to impossible to take out any site. Not being one to just say how to do something I also offer to help out anyone who wants to try it free of charge. After all isn’t helping folks out free of charge what good guys are supposed to do?

| Not exactly sure what you have in mind as far as a news section goes. The simplest way would be for you to make it and send me the link to it. Then we can integrate it into the total earth agent’s site quite easily. Remember Earth Agents is far more than just this board.

| Greetings, I have read of a site that one can send text messages to people free. http://sms.dynadel.com, I think this could be advantagous for teams such as the LA group. Since this would allow them to send out messages to each other in emergencies or when their help was needed. Perhaps even if not everyone could respond if a few people could help out it may prove benifitual. Another way to use this would be to send news updates to people cellphones such as the store in Africa about news being delivered on cellphones. Most of the RLSH, probably have a job and a family, so their time is already at a premium. I could consolidate information for them. | |

| Greetings, I do plan on using the Earth Agent email more in the future as I don't like google's privacy policy. One good think with google's services though is that you have one account for most of their services. Another thing is with google wave it combines, email, text, and social networking into one application. I'm planning on inviting superman so he can "play" around with it. This also saves time and allows for better "customer service". One thought is what if people need to contact one of the superhero's? Would they contact them directly? Or would someone else contact them? | |

| Establishing contact would depend on what the individual hero has set up. I use e-mail to set up a contact and any hero do that and afterward can also use the free chat room that is a part of the Earth Agents Site for holding free on line consultations. Superman

| One thing too, while I am based in one area I have contacts in other parts too. So just because someone is in one area doesn't mean they might not be able to help with something in a different area. Or one hero might not be involved with certain activities of a certain nature. | |

| Well, since no one answered me I will answer my own question. I think google wave has alot of potential but has a ways to go yet. For example, having a add in for google voice.
One thing I am wondering about is if the site is going to show adds why not show more "targeted" adds such as for herogear.net or other things.

| The place providing the software and storage space for this board puts the ads on to defray expenses. The ads give ust he board for free and I have no control over what ones are used. Superman | |

| With my past classes in business I understand the need for the company that makes the forum's bottom line. I was just suggesting that HeroGear and other might be good to run adds on this site. Perhaps they could go to the makers of the forum software and get an add. | |

| If hero gear or anyone else in the movement (with the exception of phoenix (who I consider a sorry sack of shit) wants a space on this board, or any other section of the site for that matter, can have it for the low low price of absolutely free. All they have to do is ask me so I’ll know to add it and them in. I’m all about inclusion rather than trying to have some kind of "I'm better than you are so kiss my ass " kind of fake caste system. So if you run into anyone you think should be in here invite them. I’ll do all I can to make them feel respected and at home in here. Superman

| I'm not into the "caste" system either. But one of my problems is finding a blog software. For example, I have a blog but I don't know if the person who maintains it would feel about me using it RLSH purposes. Also I wonder about whether I could blog without people knowing my identity using blogger.com.
This is my problem with trying to setup a blog for the supercomputer club. Others might benefit from this as well. For example, it might people to blog about certain events such as volunteer work. Then one could get rss feeds as well so they would be notified when new posts came out. Then I would probably post less on the forum.

Have you heard of hushmail? It has some interesting features. Also facebook has a reply by email which is really nice. I wish more sites would do that. Have you played around with google wave at all?

| Greetings,
I think the ads on this site are from adsense. I saw an ad that said "Ads Put on by Google." So yeah, that's where money is coming from for the forums.

| Hey, I tried to find the unreality lab page, but i couldn't find it in a search engine. I found it when in a post on this forum. I kind of feel like your webpages are disconnected. For example, I'm trying to find the main page for earth agents but can't find it. Perhaps it should be on the forum index so people can see it.
Also looking for super hero academy. I've looked on a search engine and haven't found it. Maybe that should be linked also.

| everything is being linked under the unreality lab as its bioard is sitting on our server unlike this 1 the links can be found there and upon request. Security on the internet depends on controll of access.Easier to controll when you own it and have physical access to it

| I think your content's great. It's just finding that is the hard part. What I meant by linking is put a link to the forum to the main earth's agent site.
I don't think I'm alone in this. I sent a message to someone once and they said that they had forgotten about the address. So it's not just me.
By the way, I might want to setup my own lab, once funds allow. I'm waiting on some money to come. Right now my lab consists of a desktop.
