Project: Lifeline

Hello everyone,

I would like to make a post about the topics that the Alternates are working on this fall. The first one I am typing about is very important. We call it Project: Lifeline. We are working with the Support Network for Battered Women to raise awareness of abuse that still happens today. Right now we are asking people to donate their old cell phones (in any condition) or a gift card to the Support Network. Ragensi is working on a blog right now for the Alternates Myspace page as well as bulletins we will be flooding over the weekend. Also, we ask if you can send us a picture to add to our gallery of heroes. Personally I could not think of a great way of thanking people for their donations other then to showcase who they are. And it is not just for superheroes but for everyone as well. Check out the project site at http://lifeline.thealternates.org . Hi Zeta,
Rather than a blog in my space I’d suggest a stand alone Blog putting a link to it in my space and everywhere else you can think of like say ..HERE!! My Space is not the center of the on line Universe by any means and when soliciting for help you want to cover as wide a range as possible. If there is any way I can be of assistance in creating or promoting such a blog or the goals of the Alternates in general just let me know.
