| Real life pulp heroes ( RLPHs, pronounced " ralphs " ) are a category for RLSH like me: uniform optional people who work closely with the public as partners in crime fighting and relief efforts. We also may use RLPH status to earn livings in security and related professions while promoting commonly held RLSH values. Inspired by comic books, we also draw particular motivation from pulp novel characters and approaches like the Guardian Angels and others who enlist the public instead of serving from a distance. Some of us are more suited to teaming up with conventional concerned citizens while other peers contributions comes in concert with real life superheroes.
" Modern Warriors " is the label Entomo had for fellow RLPHs and it fits. We're just one of many varieties under the broad RLSH banner and should organize to make our own unique contribution. Whether the title is RLPH; Modern Warrior or whatever, those who do what we all do in this manner have something special to offer- just like everyone else.
