Internet Policing and Information Force

Everyone reading this must have some sort of computer skills and access to the Internet or you wouldn’t be reading it. What that means is all of you potentially have the needed skills to become part of the Internet Policing and Information Force. Over75 percent of the crime taking place today has some sort of tie to the Internet. Things like Nigeria scams, Cyber Bullying, Kiddie Porn preditors and Phishing just to name 4. The Internet covers the entire world but there is no multinational multi-jurisdictional agency anywhere to deal with it. When there is no organized Police force or when there is but it’s considered corrupt or ineffective is when historically vigilance comities and their modern offshoots like the RLSH movements start forming. Among other things the computer and Internet level the playing field. In real life situations you have to have superior physical skills when facing down criminals or your butt will be in a sling if it’s still around at all after a confrontation. On a computer the only things that matter are your skill set determination and willingness to help. Location and physicality don’t enter into the picture. I have been discussing this with several folks on line both in and out of the RLSH community. All of us are in agreement that something needs to be done. So as an Internet Policing and Information force is what’s needed that’s exactly what we are forming. I have set up a basic (work in progress) site to help get the ball rolling. While I have done battle with and kicked butt on various Internet nastys since I have been on line I would hate to think I’m the only person out here fed up with the BS. I know I’m not the most skilled or the only one capable of a good idea so any and all are invited to weigh in on it as I could use every pair of hands out there that are willing to help. Please copy this and repost it as many places as you can think of to help spread the word.

I have worked with them many a time and have attended many of there UK based meeting when they have come over. They work closely with the US and UK goverments and have a lot of support from them.

The one point here that you have to understand if you want to do this is that for legal reasons, the people in charge must must be a qualified Unix/Linux certified System Administrator, with experience in Forensic I.T.or you will not be able to really operate to any great authority of efficiency.

Just thought that I would put this forward as I have more than a little experience and qualifications in this subject.

As much as it pains me to admit he does have a point. I going to check out these cyber angels. Though I will admit one of my weaknesses is technical knowledge. It is something I plan to address. But maybe we could recruit someone with said experience? There is things I can do, but forensic investigation isn't it.
