I was reviewing the 1st season of Adventures of Superman paying particular attention to the extras section. According to what’s there DC comics ordered up the 1st 26 episodes on speculation with the Movie Superman and the Mole Men as a sort of test for theatrical release to see weather or not the public would George Reeves as Superman. Then after filming, the serries was shelved till Kelloggs came on as a sponser. No mention was made of Toni Mannix financing anything or of any shooting outside of the studio. As I get more information and do more research I'll keep posting.

it was in the hollywood krytonite book,phillis coates was quoted to saying that,including jack larson & noel neil. ect.

Just because the authors of that particular book said it doesn’t mean it was so. I have seen Jack Larson for 1 say in interviews I saw on TV that he was misquoted from that book calling it Hollywood Craptonite. Every other author and Book on George Reeves that mentions that book and it’s authors says that their research is shoddy and a lot of what was presented as facts were things said authors made up. The Authors of that book are pretty much universally despised by the rest of the Superman/George Reeves Community for being hacks. These days just about anyone can publish a book and a lot of them are only good for lining birdcages. That’s why our research has to be impeccable and from reliable sources.

Hmmm, not sure what to think on this one. I've heard Hollywood Kyptonite was craptonite...but I have no idea.
On my end, the treatment is done & Tony has it. His LA trip is coming, then we'll know if we can proceed.

Glad to hear that things are proceeding. I for 1 would love to hear more about the treatment. Perhaps if 1 is available you could upload a text file or word perfect version to the file section of the yahoo site I created for us to upload stuff to.
