RE: SKYPE

Ahoy all,

I have been a sponsored full time R.L.S.H. for some time now, and have been around all our boards and listened and commented here and there, but in all my time in the forums I have not come across many people using SKYPE, or even trying to use any V.O.I.P. communications in general instead of using forum posts and instant messaging, which I really find quite Strange, especially as SKYPE TO SKYPE CALLS ARE TOTALLY FREE.

One thing many of you may or may not know about me is that, besides being one of the worlds first full time sponsored R.L.S.H's { a new and very different beast that most of you will have not come across yet, so please bare with me. }

I am also an Oxford qualified psychologist. I assure you however that I am not going to play the full on Psychology card here. However there is one small basic concept of Psychology, that I would like to share with you all.

Humans in truth are much faster and better at communicating verbally than through posts and IM's, we where simply built that way {with good reason}. We also tend to communicate with much greater accuracy, verbally with much less chance of being misinterpreted, {misinterpretation of posts seems to be a long running theme throughout all our forums}.

So here is the question I would love to put forward to you all:

WHY IS THERE THEN SO MUCH FEAR AND PARANOIA AMONGST THE R.L.S.H. SCENE, WHEN IT COMES TO COMMUNICATING VERBALLY WITH OTHERS ???????.

I actually as a Psychologist and an Ex Royal Naval Officer I have a very good idea but I shall keep quite and hope that I am pleasantly surprised.

Now I do understand and even remember that in the bad old days of dial up connections and expensive international telephone calls, typed communications where a very evil but still cool necessity, however we now live in the much more enlightened times of laptops, hi speed, broadband, WIFI, and Voice Over Internet Protocol ~ {VOIP}, so chaps, we really do not have any excuses left any more.

We also have at our fingertips the worlds leading VOIP product Skype. It is totally free has voice quality like you would not believe as well as many innovative features like really simple to use conference calling and file sharing. In Europe and all across Asia Skype is the number one PC voice communications product and will only continue with Googles support to gain many more Fans, Users and credibility. In fact in Europe Skype is now considered the most classy and stylish way to communicate from your laptop.

However it does not seem to have taken off quite as well over there in the States, even though there is plugin active for it on this forum and it is the number one software download from the iphone app store at the moment.

Now I know that I have lots of great things that I would dearly love to discuss with you chaps verbally and I reckon that there are many of you out there who are in the same boat, { excuse the pun }, so why not lets talk, my Skype address is:

Sorry John,

But to tell the truth there are established class systems all over the world, America having one equally as bad as the UK's if not worse in some cases.

The truth is I may have been educated with the upper classes in there establishments but my family are a socialist working class family, just a very highly educated one, my mother being a professor and chair of Clinical and Behavioral Psychology, who knew a few chaps who got me in on scholarships because of my obscenely high IQ at some of the worlds top schools and Universities, Eaton and Oxford, at Oxford I was also fortunate enough to be inducted into the Elite Bullingdon club.

After Leaving uni with a first with Honours in Psychology I joined the Royal Navy, as an officer and became a special operations clearance and support officer in charge of a specilist unit. At this time I was also inducted as a member of the UK Freemason and a fellow of the British Round Table.

I have never been given or have ever inherited a penny, I have earned every penny I have serving in the Navy living Cheaply on base and investing my pay wisely. Thanks to many astute city trades a mangaged to make hell of a lot more out of may wages, enough to buy my rental property in the south of France, which now bring me in over £20.000 a year in income.

As to my sponsorship, the reason I ecieve that is because I was head hunted by the company because in there words "they had never come across such an amazing and unique human being" and they are a multi, multi million pound a year group of companies.

The reason I got the job was because I am so highly and uniquely qualified to carry out the R.L.S.H. role like know one else that could be found on the boards including yourself, if you where as experienced and highly trained as me you would have been offered the sponsorship deal, this comany is also already sponsoring another urban, RLSH in the United States and again this individual was chosen over you, for his unique abilites intelligence and skill set.

I got my RLSH job not because of any privalige but simply because of my high level of inteligence and skillsets. My mother and I are totally working class socialists, in fact my mother is also a Labour councilor as well you cannot get any more working class than that, any money we both have we earned ourselves.

John you have jumped to conclusions not many of your statements are correct, and if people would simply open there minds and take time to listen there could be lots of sponsorship deals for lots more people, infact there is much more on the cards already, but because of the way you look at things you are possibly missing out on it.

I and the company who sponsors me are already in contact with many many, other R.L.S.H. stateside and arrangeing deals for them, and they get on great with me we natter all the time on skype infact it is them who keep harrassing me, and funnily none of them seem to have any problems getting on with me, so when you have time to listen I would love to possbly bring you into the loop, but that is up to you old chap.
