Police say surveillance video shows 101-year-old being assaulted

(Queens - WABC, March 9, 2007) - Police in Queens are searching for a suspect wanted for two vicious robberies involving elderly women.

On Sunday, police say the suspect attacked a 101-year-old woman in the lobby of 172-90 Highland Avenue in the Jamaica section.
In surveillance video released to Eyewitness News, police say the suspect is seen assaulting the elderly woman, knocking her and a walker to the ground. He then takes the woman's purse, police add.

A half-hour later, police say the suspect followed an 85-year-old woman into an elevator at 92-33 170th Street.

He allegedly got off one floor below, then met up with the woman as she tried to open the door to her apartment. Cops say that's when the suspect assaulted the woman and took her purse.

Police released the following description:

Black
30s
Riding a red or pink bicycle
Wearing a winter jacket with a fur collar around the hood.

I can’t help but think that if there had been an Oracle program in place for that area it might have been possible to prevent it from having happened.

I need to find a way to get a map of New York City, and New Jersey. I wonder if there's any websites I can go to, and have some printed out? And put them on my wall.

I wanna try to figure out a good way to set it up so that it will work for me. A good way so that I don't get confused by time or missions. You mentioned using different color pins for different types of crimes, right?

I got my maps from the chamber of commerse . Think I got the pins from woolworths. any craft or sewing shop will have the colored pins.
It was 1 color pin for each type of crime.doesn'treally matter which color for whatcrime as long as you know and areconsistant with it each of those pins had a number referenced in a loose leaf notebook.there you list allthe details of that crime. over time a pattern will emerge.

I don't see how it would help. In cases like this a standard map with pins is your best bet. ! advantag3e to old school hardcopy is it cant be hacked cause it isn't on line. Meantime lets move any further things on this to the oracle section.
