I do not support the Heroes Network

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Due the heinous actions of the administrator of the Heroes Network (Tothian) I disassociate myself with that forum. The forum is not a positive atmosphere. I understood when I posted a few months back that it was very negative against me and my wife. I choose to post in hopes of connecting with new people and help repair some relationships. I also wanted to give Tothian another chance. There are a lot of good people who post on that forum. But it has also done some serious harm to the community of individuals who aspire to be superheroes.

Recently I have gotten in an argument with one of the moderators. I was compelled to respond to a passive aggressive post he made about me. It did not end well. Regardless of the fact that online he verbally attacked me first, I should not have dignified it with a response. Either way, I had made up my mind not to return to that forum. It is not something beneficial for me if I will be continually attacked on that forum. I have never worked to discredit, harm or hinder anyone’s ability to live their lives. Claims to that fact are inaccurate and false.

Last night I received some horrible news regarding a very vulgar and vile act that Tothian did to Dark Guardian. I commend Dark Guardian for his patience in this matter (he learned about it today). The act was very animalistic. I am sure it was meant as a prank, but its hurtful and down right vulgar. Spreading your bodily fluids so people can sleep in is filthy and disgusting.

At first I thought some of Tothian’s actions where funny. But I am seeing a bigger picture of an individual who is clearly emotionally unstable. There should be no reason why a superhero has a picture of his “unit” floating around online. I am ashamed that I had a small part to play by allowing him to call into the former Alternates Radio Show and giving him an outlet. I was wrong to do so.

I no longer want to be associated with the Heroes Network or individuals who strongly support that particular message board. The fact that anyone can continue to support Tothian despite the very harmful and disturbing things he has done is beyond me. That means that you support those actions. That is something I want no part of and I am making a stand against.

Hi Zeta,

I see you have finally come to the same conclusion that I came to some time back. It just shows that you are more patient than I am. Or else I had an earlier exposure to little eric's particular brand of BS. I will take this oportunity to go a step further than you. Like you say there are some decent folks who post on his board. This message is for them as some of them also post here and on your alternates board. Guys you are known by the company you keep. If you keep posting on little erics wannabe psycho board you will lose all cerdibility with the sane part of our comunity not to mention the rest of the world. They aren't all that sure how sane we are in the 1st place. Why give them needless added amunition by placing yourself on the side of a mental case by posting there. I suggest that those of you who have sane friends on that board pass along this timely message.

Like Superman says Z eta and you now that you have finally run out of patience Little E ric as Supes calls him is a nut case. I'll also go along with him in saying that anyone that hangs out on a nut case's board kissing his booty the way some there do to avoid being banned is likely to be considered a nut case as well. His little board is sooo retarded that I don't bother to break into it any more.

It's just one of those things. Some of the people I talk to want to make a campaign to shut it down. But I choose not to reference it or treat it like it exist anymore. Really, outside of the forum, no one really cares at all. I have to learn no to care either. Give more power to my ignore button.

I wonder if you will now leave your own forum for the attacks perpetared against me by your MOD Big Simon? I guess threats against Samango do not rate on your injustice meter. Abuse of power does not even raise an eyebrow. I think that we are all flawed humans. Some of us just refuse to aknowlege our flaws and attempt to rectify them. I think that if I had to choose a forum with open villans spaming insults , or one with sneaky moderators editing posts , I would choose the one that embraces freedom.

First off Samango welcome to the party. Plenty of bad guys to go around. This is my board and we don’t lock topics here or ban folks for expressing their true opinions. On the other hand we don’t molly coddle here either. If you are attacked in here feel free to defend yourself as vigorously as you want. The way I figure it is if a hero can’t handle what goes on in a board they are not exactly hero material in the first place. We do try to keep swearing to a minimum in most sections (as gratuitous swearing shows a lack of vocabulary and class) but in vent your spleen anything goes. If a topic shows a high potential for flaming we usually start it in the vent your spleen section. If one develops that way it’s also easily transferred there. That’s pretty much the extent of policing here. If you would like I can make you a mod or admin here so you feel safe in expressing your self. But to be fair I must warn you that it is mostly a grunt work gig and that the folks I do have helping out usually follow the procedure mentioned here. I’d also like to point out to you that Earth Agents is far more than just this board. I suggest that you go to http://earthagents.official.ws/ and check out the rest of it. If you feel the need to set up a place of your own I will be happy to assist you at no cost to you. I hope this helps.
