SpotCrime.com is an online crime-mapping project. Their reports seem to be compiled from news sources rather than from police departments themselves. This affects response time and completeness, but should not affect credibility. In all, it's a well-constructed site, and it seems pretty close to the goal of the oracle project. It still falls short of government crime-mapping, but it is much more accessible. If nothing else, it's worth checking out.

Just a thought here on heat and armor.

I have worn some different forms of body armor before. A lot different than what we use today. And while today's is lighter and stronger they both have the same problem. Heat.

They act as insulation and trap excess body heat. This can lead to overheating and heat prostration if not carefully monitored and factured in.

I have a long range strategy to take down, or more likely, assist in the taking down of several gangs here in BC. They are having a shooting war that dose'nt look like it will end anytime soon.

Was just wondering how many of us use a spotter?

A spotter is someone you have who works with you while you patrol/mission/whatever by watching for you as a extra set of eyes in a remote, but viewable location.

This can be someone walking ahead or behind you while in radio or cell phone contact. They may also be a a central position that allow them to have a overall veiw of the area. They can warn you of things you may come up on or possible attack from behind.

Just finished with my gloves and thought I would share a look at my litle project.

I was using costume gloves over my sap gloves for the appearance. The costume gloves, however, were way too velcro friendly and gave me concerns about my grip. They were also starting to come apart at some of the seams.

I decided to take them apart and glue the 'bone' sections to the back of the gloves themselves.

I am now, 86 days away from becoming fully operational. I will be patroling at times in selected area, stepping up my investigations by more intellegence work and more "confrontations".

some of my time is being spent working on a few projects.

I posted a picture of a coffin shapped slapjack here, It is just too good to pass up but I'm a little short in the money department.

So, I'm making my own out of leather and led shot (fine bird shot) cutting out the pieces and sewing and clueing. I'm making two because the wife, Lady Death, wants one for herself...just in case.

It started with a local guy that people pointed out as a sex offender living in the area. A little work and I find he is involved with a computer network trading child porn.

Now, he works in a private club downtown that is a hangout for vampires. (those people pretending) while there he trades discs of porn(?) to some of the vamps for coke. (not the drink)

Havent had a lot of time to sit online as my work plus some of the stuff Thanatos has been doing has kept me moving.

I have started out looking into a gang called the UN. This has led me on a strange course of events that is uncovering a fair amount of very evil criminal activity. And also very strange and bizzare.

This is how I store my equipment. Does anyone else go to this kind of extreme?

I find everything one can do to positivly motivate yourself into the character helps. This includes using music while suiting up, strange rituals (?), storing your stuff special.

I volunteer with a small social agency from time to time by helping to deliver food to several of the local street missions in the city. I don't often have time to do this because of work but when I can I do.

Today I went to one down by where I had done my test patrol a while back. (see earlier posting) The director greeted me and introduced me to their newest employee. They try to hire help from off the street to help out the needy folks.

Do drunk people cause any else problems. Part of the time I patrol Grenville North Carolina, Proud home of ECU, a bunch of kids who pride themselves on their rampant Alcoholism. In my own observation, in terms of psychic abilities, all of the known RLSs are very weak. Most of them are unable to register any precognitive abilities (looking into the future). However, there are a few who can look into the past (retrocognitive), as well as view other locations in the present.
